TRAVIS BOAK was awarded the maximum votes from the coaches in the Shadforth AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award for his best-on-ground performance against Gold Coast.

Boak collected 36 disposals - 22 of them contested - eight clearances, four tackles and three inside 50s in Port’s 38-point victory over the Suns.

Gold Coast’s Brayden Fiorini received eight votes for his game-high 38 touches on Sunday afternoon, with the rest of the votes awarded to Power players.

Darcy Byrne-Jones was extremely productive from the half-back flank, while Sam Gray and Connor Rozee were very impressive in the forward half.

Tom Rockliff also received a couple of votes for his 30-touch game.

There were five other players from around the league who were awarded maximum votes from the coaches.

Lachie Whitfield (GWS), Dustin Martin (RICH), George Hewett (SYD), Mitch Duncan (GEEL) and Lachie Neale (BRIS) were all adjudged best on ground by the senior coaches.
