DOUGAL HOWARD and Karl Amon have each been offered one-game bans by the Match Review Officer after a review of Saturday night’s win over ladder-leaders Geelong.

Howard was charged with striking Cats defender Harry Taylor during the second quarter of the 11-point win at Adelaide Oval.

The incident was graded as intentional with medium impact to the body.

He can accept a one match sanction with an early guilty plea.

Teammate Amon was charged with engaging in rough conduct during the third quarter of the same match.

Amon was cited for an off-the ball bump on Geelong’s Gary Rohan.

The Match Review Officer graded the incident as careless but with high contact and medium impact.

Amon too can accept a one match sanction if he chooses to plead guilty.

The club has until tomorrow to decide whether to challenge the sanctions.
