Burton on Westhoff and Ryder:

"They might play a game in the twos.

"They might want to get a bit of confidence back - they've been lacking that in the last few weeks.

"There's a few players screaming out to play games, like Willem Drew and Peter Ladhams, so it could provide an opportunity for them.

Burton on a potential positional change:

“I won’t be knocking on Kenny’s door to play me on the wing or anything.

“I’m really happy down back and really comfortable with the back six or seven that we have now.

“If Kenny wants to play me there then I’m more than happy to fill that position, but I’m really happy down back.

“I think I’m playing my role every week, which the team needs, and there are some outstanding mids and wingmen who can come in a fill that spot.

Burton of Rockliff:

“He got tested out for his hammy.

“He had a run around and a kick. He will train Thursday and if he pulls up really well then he’s probably up for selection this week.

Burton on his move to Port:

“I’ve felt pretty settled all through the home-and-away season.

“I used the JLT to sort of find my feet. I guess a few players were working out the new game plan we had, and I was obviously implementing it for the first time.

“The home-and-away season has been fine for me, and returning from injury has been fine as well.

“I’ve just been playing my role and happy to keep doing that.

Burton on the win over Geelong:

“It gives us a lot of confidence.

“It shows once we do put a four-quarter performance together, we can beat the best in the comp.

“We’ve matched it with a lot of the best sides this year so far, and fallen short in a quarter here or there.

“I guess it was the first time we played a really good, four-quarter performance against one of the top eight sides.

Burton on Port’s contested game against Geelong:

"We like to take our aggression out fairly in tackles and stoppages and the incidents are different to that.

"We might have been reminded a bit because we lacked it in the last quarter against Fremantle, but we've done it most of the year.

"It's basically second nature to us.
