HELP support Power Community Limited and you could win a one-of-a-kind retro Port Adelaide fridge!

The brand new retro Smeg fridge features beautiful airbrushing of Sam Powell-Pepper’s Indigenous guernsey design and is signed by the entire 2019 playing group and senior coach.

The fridge has been donated by Riverland-based artist and sign writer Mark Lewis, with the goal of raising money to support Port Adelaide’s Aboriginal Programs.

“It all started from the idea of wanting to help raise money for a cause that was close to my family,” said Mr Lewis, who has been a painter by trade for 17 years.

“This year I sat down with Daniel Norton (General Manager – Media) and we brainstormed the idea of doing an Indigenous theme and using Pep’s guernsey design.”

Mark, who also ran successful charity raffles to support the club in 2016 and 2017, said replicating Powell-Pepper’s design was a difficult, but rewarding task.

“From start to finish it took approximately 30 hours to complete. Because of the intricacy of the design it had to be hand painted rather than printed, which was a bit of a headache, but I hope I’ve done the design justice.

“The last two raffles raised $18,000 and $19,000 respectively, so it would be great to push past the $20,000 mark this year!”

Second prize in the raffle is a signed 2019 Indigenous guernsey and third a signed football.

Tickets are just $10 each and can be purchased here.

All money raised will go to support Power Community Limited, the charitable entity of the Port Adelaide Football Club, who drive social and economic change in our community through programs that create education and employment outcomes.

The Winner will be drawn at 7pm on Monday, August 26, 2019 and posted to the competition Facebook page.
