PORT ADELAIDE mid-season draftee Cam Sutcliffe will make his club debut this weekend when the Power host Brisbane at Adelaide Oval on Sunday afternoon.

Sutcliffe was selected by Port with pick 9 in the NAB Mid-Season Rookie Draft, after moving to Alberton from Fremantle to captain the Magpies in the SANFL.

The 27-year-old played 104 games and kicked 18 goals for the Dockers.

Travis Boak will also return to the side after being a late withdrawal in last weekend’s 57-point Showdown Victory.

Boak suffered back spasms in the warm-up, but has trained well this week and will face the Lions.

Sam Powell-Pepper and Xavier Duursma have both been omitted.

Powell-Pepper, Trent McKenzie, Duursma and Peter Ladhams are the four emergencies for Round 17.

Any player not required at AFL level will be available for the Magpies in this weekend’s Showdown clash with Adelaide at Port Pirie.
