NORTH MELBOURNE will be looking to respond against Port Adelaide after a disappointing night in Geelong in Round 21.

The Kangaroos managed just one goal against the Cats in Saturday night’s 55-point loss at GMHBA Stadium.

Retiring defender Scott Thompson suffered a concussion after a tackle in the third term and didn’t take any further part in the game. If he is ruled out, one of Sam Durdin or Ben McKay could come in to fill that key defender role.

Ruckman Tom Campbell has been in dominant form in the VFL this season, having another 25 touches and two goals on the weekend.

Small forward Nathan Hrovat was also good in the VFL on the weekend, collecting 36 disposals, and could be in line for a call-up against the Power on Saturday night.

The final teams will be announced on Thursday night, ahead of the important Round 22 clash at Marvel Stadium at 7.25pm AEST on Saturday night.
