PORT ADELAIDE defender Hamish Hartlett has been handed a financial sanction from the SANFL for a comment he posted on social media.

Hartlett was fined $750 for breaching the SANFL Regulations pertaining to social media comments that are detrimental or prejudicial to the welfare, image, spirit or best interests of the league.

The 29-year-old posted the comment after it was revealed Billy Frampton and Aidyn Johnson had been handed two-match suspensions for incidents in Port’s four-point semi final victory over Glenelg.

Hartlett has accepted the fine.
