INS: Appleton, Edwards, Frederick, Grundy, Pudney
OUTS: Johnson (suspended)

PORT ADELAIDE will be forced to make at least one change when it faces Glenelg in Sunday’s SANFL Statewide Super League Grand Final at Adelaide Oval.

Aidyn Johnson was unsuccessful in his appeal to have a striking charge against Tigers skipper Chris Curran from the second semi final overturned, meaning he will miss the premiership-decider.

Johnson must be replaced by an AFL-listed as stipulated by SANFL regulations, which means one of Marty Frederick, Kai Pudney or Riley Grundy will replace the speedy forward.

All three have been included in a 25-man squad that must be trimmed by four before first bounce on Sunday.

Frederick gathered 14 touches in the Magpies' 30-point victory over Adelaide in the qualifying final three weeks ago and has been solid across halfback during his first year at Port Adelaide.

Meanwhile, former Eagle Pudney and Double Blue Grundy have each played 15 games this season in the Magpies backlines.

SANFL contracted players Matt Appleton and Ben Edwards also come into the squad after showing some good form in their affiliate leagues over recent weeks, and could be in contention to add to their eight and five games respectively in this weekend’s grand final.

The Magpies and Glenelg will battle it out for the 2019 premiership on Sunday afternoon at Adelaide Oval, with the game starting at 3.00pm.
