MELBOURNE'S Clayton Oliver has been offered a $1000 sanction if he enters an early guilty plea for engaging in rough conduct on Power midfielder Aaron Young on Saturday.

Oliver was charged for the counduct in the fourth quarter of the Power's 19-point loss to Melbourne last Saturday.

The incident was assessed by the AFL Match Review Panel as careless conduct with low impact to the head. 

The sanction carries a $1,500 fine which can be reduced to $1000 with an early plea.
