Travis Boak was voted best afield by the fans in the Round 11 win against Richmond

The fans have spoken and Travis Boak has been voted the Fans MG MVP for Round 11.

Boak continued his stellar form in season 2020 against the Tigers on Saturday afternoon, powering his side from the middle to its 21-point victory against the reigning premiers.

The midfielder was involved in plenty of the play, finishing the night with a game-high 31 disposals - 15 of which were contested.

The 32-year old recorded seven clearances, four centre clearances and nine score involvements.

This marks the fifth time Boak has earned the top honours in the fans’ vote, extending his lead on top of the MG MVP leader board.

Milestone man Ollie Wines came in second in the fan’s vote in his 150th AFL game.

Wines was a raging bull across the ground, collecting 28 disposals, 22 contested possessions and 10 clearances.

His pressure was enormous, laying 11 tackles, and he also hit the scoreboard with a goal in the third quarter.

Young ruckman Peter Ladhams impressed fans with his performance against the Tigers, coming in third in the vote.

Sharing the ruck duties with teammate Scott Lycett for the first time this season allowed Ladhams to show his versatility around the ground, particularly up forward where he kicked two important goals.

Ladhams set the Power off on the right note, kicking the first goal of the game with a ridiculous snap from the pocket that is sure to be a goal of the year contender.
