Gray is one of three players to miss Saturday's practice match after receiving a deep cut to his lip at training last week.

TOM Jonas, Robbie Gray and Sam Powell-Pepper have been ruled out of the club’s practice game against Adelaide on Saturday.

Jonas will be managed through the two games against the Crows after playing a full game in the recent internal trial.

Gray suffered a deep cut to his lip at training last week which required stitches and will be given time for the injury to heal.

Midfielder Sam Powell-Pepper has had a surgical procedure to relieve the swelling in his right hand after breaking a bone at training last week.

The injury will see him miss the consecutive pre-season games against the Crows. It’s hoped the 23-year-old will push to play in the club’s season opener against North Melbourne on March 21.

Full squads for Saturday’s SANFL/AFL double header practice games will be released on Friday afternoon.

Connor Rozee saw a specialist in Sydney on Thursday for an opinion regarding a new issue with a joint in his foot.

The club will continue to monitor and manage the issue but he is available to face the Crows.
