FORWARD Connor Rozee is available to feature for Port Adelaide in its Round 3 encounter against West Coast on Saturday night after recovering from foot surgery.

Rozee has not played since the club’s AAMI Community Series win over Adelaide, having had surgery to remove scar tissue around a joint in his foot.

The 21-year-old is likely to be joined by fellow forward Todd Marshall, who was a late withdrawal from the weekend’s game against Essendon with back soreness.

Lachie Jones has been progressing well after suffering a hamstring strain 10 days ago, and will resume full training this week as he looks to prove his fitness to return to play this weekend.

Fellow defender Riley Bonner has spent a week in a leg brace and on crutches to ease the pressure on his hamstring tendon injury, and a plan is being prepared for his return.

Second-year backman Jake Pasini will require surgery on his right shoulder, after he suffered a dislocation in the club’s SANFL trial game on Friday night. He is expected to be sidelined for around the next three months.

Port Adelaide’s team to tackle the Eagles will be named on Friday evening at 5:50pm ACDT.

Saturday’s game at Optus Stadium gets underway at 5:10pm AWST / 7:40pm ACDT.
