Aliir Aliir had 10 intercept possessions against the Blues on Saturday night.

THE fans have spoken, voting dashing defender Aliir Aliir as best on ground in the Power’s 28-point win over Carlton on Saturday night.

Aliir continued his great start to the season, with his gadget arms involved in majority of the entries to the Blues forward line that came his way, taking 10 intercept possessions and six spoils.

The 194cm defender finished the night with 17 disposals – at an impressive 94% disposal efficiency.

After taking out the fans vote for the second week in a row Aliir sits equal top of the Fans MG MVP leaderboard with the 2020 fans’ champion, Travis Boak.

Runner up in the vote was Ollie Wines who was polished all night, finishing with a game high 32-disposals and seven clearances – four of them from the centre of the ground.

Rounding out the votes this week were Travis Boak (3rd), Robbie Gray (4th) and Karl Amon (5th). 

This weekend Port Adelaide hosts St Kilda under lights at Adelaide Oval in an ANZAC Day fixture.
