Ollie Wines was awarded the Peter Badcoe VC medal for his impressive ANZAC Day performance.

VICE-CAPTAIN Ollie Wines has been voted by Port Adelaide's supporters as their best on ground from Sunday's win over St Kilda at Adelaide Oval.

The bullocking midfielder has enjoyed an impressive start to Port's 2021 campaign and was in fine touch against the Saints, also claiming the Peter Badcoe VC medal and a perfect 10 from the coaches in AFLCA Player of the Year voting for his ANZAC Day efforts.

Wines gathered a game-high 36 possessions, eight clearances, seven inside 50s and five tackles in an imposing display at the stoppages.

This weekend Port Adelaide travel to Queensland to face Brisbane at the Gabba on Saturday evening.
