PORT ADELAIDE advises its forward formerly known as Junior Rioli, should now be referred to by his birth name, Willie Rioli, following a period of mourning after the death of his father.

Mr Rioli senior passed away in July last year and, with the club’s blessing, the younger Rioli was granted leave to attend a memorial ceremony at the weekend.

Willie Rioli is back in Adelaide and available for selection for Saturday night’s game against Collingwood.

The Rioli family has thanked the community for respecting and following its cultural protocols over the past 12 months.
