CHARLIE DIXON could return to the Port Adelaide line-up for Saturday night’s Semi-Final against Greater Western Sydney.

The big forward has been troubled by a foot injury and not played since the Round 20 Showdown but has been running without discomfort and will rejoin training in the coming days with a view to confirming his availability for selection.

Defenders Trent McKenzie and Dylan Williams could also be in the frame to take on the Giants despite suffering respective ankle and hamstring injuries in Brisbane at the weekend.

McKenzie sprained his right ankle in the third quarter at the Gabba but the 31-year-old’s condition will be assessed as the week progresses with a hope that he will be able to play on Saturday night.

Scans have cleared Williams of any significant muscle injury, but he will still need to prove his fitness to be considered for selection.

Forward Todd Marshall will continue to manage hip soreness but is expected to be available, while ruck Dante Visentini is potentially in line to return from a quad injury.

Port Adelaide will name its side for Saturday night’s match against the Giants on Thursday at 5:50pm ACST.
