Port Adelaide has completed an exchange of draft picks with Fremantle on the opening day of the Continental Tyres Trade Period.
Port Adelaide will hand over its future first round pick to Fremantle in exchange for the Dockers’ pick 23 and their future second round pick.
“The swap of picks gives the club greater flexibility during this trade period to bring in the players we’ve identified,” Port Adelaide GM – Football Chris Davies said.
The Continental Tyres Trade Period opened today and will run until 7pm ACDT on Wednesday 18th of October.
Port Adelaide receives:
2023 second round selection (currently pick 23) from Fremantle, tied to North Melbourne compensation
2024 second round pick (Fremantle)
Port Adelaide gives:
2024 first round selection
