Picked up by Port Adelaide in the 2023 mid-season draft, Quinton Narkle is a highly skilled midfielder with a special eye for goal. Originally hailing from Western Australia, Narkle was drafted by Geelong in 2016 and went on to play 41 senior games in the hoops. After being delisted by the Cats at the end of 2022, he enjoyed an impressive stint with Essendon’s VFL side in the first half of 2023 - catching the eye of Port Adelaide’s coaching staff and list managers and successfully earning another chance at AFL level.
A second cousin and former schoolmate of Sam Powell-Pepper, Narkle adds valuable depth to the Power’s midfield and forward line. A determined and resilient footballer who has all the traits to be a long-term player for the club, Narkle will be hoping to make the most of his second chance. He made his club debut against former side Geelong in Round 14, 2023 - slotting two goals and helping his side charge to a 38-point victory.
