A strongly built small forward, Francis Evans was picked up by Port Adelaide as a delisted free agent at the conclusion of the 2022 season. The 22-year-old played a total of seven AFL matches, including five in 2022, prior to being delisted following Geelong’s premiership success.
Although yet to see consistent time at the AFL level, Evans has shown good goal sense, strong overhead marking ability and a willingness to work hard to win the ball and keep it in the forward line. He's a favourite of the Port Adelaide faithful, booting a career-high four goals in Showdown LIV.
The young talent is developing his craft and will look to prove himself worthy of a regular spot in Port Adelaide’s forward line.

The Port Adelaide Football Club acknowledges the land on which we train and play, are based on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. We respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of Australia and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living people today.
