Jase Burgoyne joined Port Adelaide after being selected at Pick 60 of the 2021 NAB AFL Draft. Much like his father, the younger Burgoyne is a smooth-moving defender with a natural ability for accumulating the football at a high rate and makes good decisions by hand and foot.
He made his AFL debut in 2022 after a phenomenal string of games in the SANFL, immediately showcasing his football IQ and game sense to be able to accumulate large amounts of the ball. With a number of senior games under his belt, Burgoyne has shown that coaches and fans they have plenty to be excited about moving forward.

The Port Adelaide Football Club acknowledges the land on which we train and play, are based on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. We respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of Australia and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living people today.
