Known by teammates and opponents as a fierce competitor, Ange Foley is a versatile player who brings a high level of composure to her game. Across her footballing career Foley has played primarily on the half-back line, but can also push into the midfield and make an impact higher up the ground.
She played every game for Port Adelaide in 2022 and 2023 – a testament to her skill and commitment to her game. She was named vice-captain ahead of the club’s inaugural AFLW season and quickly showed the value of the wealth of experience and leadership she brings to the young side. She brings a composed presence in the backline, second in marks and third in intercept possessions for her side in 2023.
With 60 AFLW games now under her belt, and counting, Foley looks to continue to build upon an impressive footballing career.
