PORT ADELAIDE could go into this weekend’s game unchanged for the second consecutive match with a clean bill of health out of its game against the Gold Coast in Shanghai.

Todd Marshall is a chance to play his first game since round four after returning from compassionate leave to play for the Magpies against North Adelaide in the SANFL last week.

In a tough day for Port’s forwards, Marshall had seven disposals and a mark but managed just two behinds.

He copped a shoulder knock and he will have to prove he has recovered to be a chance of playing.

Lindsay Thomas showed glimpses of the form that saw him given a club AFL debut in round 5 on his return from suspension.

He booted two goals and had four marks along with 13 disposals.

Jasper Pittard and Jack Trengove are also pushing for selection after the game against the Roosters.

Pittard was busy off half-back with 29 disposals, ten marks and five tackles to go with six inside 50s and six rebound 50s.

Trengove worked tirelessly in midfield and finished with 29 possessions, five marks and three tackles.

The squad to face Hawthorn will be announced on Thursday evening.
