With its senior list full, Port Adelaide will need to wait until pick 16 of the rookie draft to begin populating gaps in its secondary list.
The Power has selections 16 (first round), 34 (second round) and 51 (third round).
Port Adelaide has already committed to taking delisted senior player Tom Logan in the rookie draft and will be required to take the winner of FOX8's The Recruit Johann Wagner with its final selection.
Wagner's selection will be as a 'Category B' rookie, joining international player Daniel Flynn who was drafted at the same time last year.
