MARK Williams has been cleared of the lymphoma he was diagnosed with in November 2014.

Currently an assistant to Damien Hardwick at Richmond, Williams is one of Port Adelaide's most successful contributors, having coached the club to the 2004 AFL premiership and playing in four SANFL flags.

The Herald Sun reported the 111-game Port player, who coached the club in 257 AFL games, shared the good news with his Richmond players and fellow coaches today.

Williams, 56, has continued his role as senior development coach with the Tigers throughout this season.
