LAST WEEK’S NEWS

It was the game of the year, but not the result Port fans were after.

The emotionally charged game didn’t disappoint and captain Travis Boak (MID, $529,000) led from the front as you’d expect. He was Port’s top scorers with 128, his best score for 2015.

Chad Wingard (FWD/MID, $503,000) and Robbie Gray (FWD/MID, $502,000) once again cracked the ton and once again proved why they are some of the best forward options in the game.

Angus Monfries (FWD, $348,000) scored 92 backing up his 113 from round 15 and now finds himself averaging 80 in his last three games.

Patrick Ryder (FWD/RUC, $390,000) slotted 3.2 goals for his score of 91. He once again shared the rucking duties with Matthew Lobbe (RUC, $418,000) who also hit the score board with two goals.

ON THE RADAR

This time next week, all the talk around the Fantasy world will be ‘who will gain a new position next to their name?’ Hamish Hartlett (MID, $474,000) has a been a player rumoured to be gaining ‘Defender’ status next to his name, after playing the occasional role around the back half. Although only 10/12 players will be changed and he’s a small outside chance, he’s certainly one to keep an eye on over the next week.

TOP 5 SCORERS

#1 – 128 Travis Boak (MID, $529,000)
#2 – 112 Chad Wingard (FWD/MID, $503,000)
#3 – 108 Hamish Hartlett (MID, $474,000)
#4 – 101 Robbie Gray (FWD/MID, $502,000)
#5 – 97 Brad Ebert (MID, $525,000)

WHAT’S COMING UP

This week, Port play the Bombers under the roof of Etihad Stadium.

Last time these teams met, the Power went down by 2pts and we can’t let that happen again. That day Robbie Gray (FWD/MID, $502,000) top scored with only 97 as the boys kicked a wayward 7.18.60 and that was with Jay Schulz kicking three straight.

Good luck this round Fantasy fans and fingers crossed for a bounce back victory this week.
