POWER legends Michael Wilson and Brayden Lyle will jump back in the saddle for this weekend's Beat Cancer Tour.

The two former Port Adelaide players will be joined by the club's chaplain Brandon Chaplin in the tour, which starts on Saturday and runs through the 25th of January.

The trio recently took to the track for the Matt Sinclair Ride run by Jarrad Redden last year, and will ride a stage of this week's Beat Cancer Tour.

Wilson is looking forward to this latest challenge.

"The club is always looking for opportunities to support the community and give back, and the opportunity to ride in the Beat Cancer Tour supporting the Cancer Council is an excellent one," says Wilson.

"On a personal level, a blood cancer diagnosis received by a close family member has provided more than enough incentive to continue fundraising in support of cancer research.

"And club chaplin, Brandon sees first-hand the impact life challenges such as a cancer diagnosis have on various members of the football and wider community.

"In riding and raising money for this worthy cause, we hope to do our small part in creating a future where cancer 'Never Tears Us Apart."
