Port Adelaide has made four further list changes, with Scott Lycett, Orazio Fantasia, Sam Hayes and Jake Pasini to depart the club.

Lycett, a former Port Adelaide junior through the club’s SANFL program, has indicated to the club that he will retire after 146 AFL games.

Lycett made his debut for West Coast in 2011 after being recruited at the 2010 National Draft and was part of their premiership side in 2018.

He returned to Alberton in 2019 playing 71 games across the last five seasons. Injury restricted Lycett to only 18 games for the Power in the last two seasons.

Fantasia, 28, was offered a contract by Port Adelaide but has decided to explore opportunities elsewhere.

Drafted by Essendon with pick 55 at the 2013 National Draft, Fantasia made his debut for the Bombers in 2014 where he played 80 games across seven seasons.

Fantasia returned to his home state of South Australia at the end of 2020 playing 15 games for Port Adelaide in 2021. Persistent injuries restricted the small forward to only four AFL games across the last two seasons at Alberton.

Hayes was advised that he would not be offered a contract in 2024, and despite having one year left on his contract, Pasini has been told he will also be delisted.

Hayes made his debut in 2022 after being recruited at the 2017 National Draft. Prior to his AFL debut, injury struck Hayes when he suffered an ACL injury at training in 2018. He went on to play 11 games for the Power across the last two seasons, including four games in 2023.

Pasini was recruited to Alberton via the 2019 Rookie Draft. Like Hayes, Pasini suffered an ACL injury in 2022 as he was pushing for selection at AFL level. The mobile defender leaves Port Adelaide having played 33 SANFL games, including all 19 this season.

Upon learning about his likely retirement, Port Adelaide senior coach Ken Hinkley thanked Lycett for his service and contribution to the club.

"Scott has been an outstanding contributor for two clubs across his 146 games, including as a premiership player at West Coast,” Hinkley said.

“He was an incredible workhorse for our club during the last five seasons and was totally focussed on putting his teammates first. As a former Port Adelaide junior, Scott was Port Adelaide through and through and we thank him for his passion and commitment to our club.

“We congratulate Scott on a great career and we will look for an opportunity next year to acknowledge and celebrate his career more formally.”

Port Adelaide list manager Jason Cripps thanked Fantasia, Hayes and Pasini for their contributions to the club.

“We also thank Orazio, Sam and Jake for their various contributions to our club.”
