Midfielder Wines will sit out this Friday’s game against Essendon with a hamstring issue.
The 29-year-old felt soreness following Saturday night’s Round 3 match, with scans later showing a strain.
Young players Ollie Lord (knee/tibia) and Hugh Jackson (hip) are making positive progress post-surgery, with both working through their rehab as expected.
Port Adelaide will name its team for Round 4 this Thursday at 5:50pm ACDT.
