KANE Cornes and Chad Wingard have topped the votes for Round 13 in the AFL Coaches Association Award.

Cornes, who polled one vote in Round 12 for his 34 possession game, had - by his standards - a paltry 21 disposals against the Swans. But it was outstanding job on star Swan midfielder Dan Hannebury that caught the coaches' eyes.

Hannebury had a massive 42 disposals in Sydney's demolition of Adelaide in Round 11 but Cornes was able to restrict the Swan to just 13 touches on Saturday.

The veteran received eight votes from the coaches for his role.

Wingard also received eight votes for his 20 disposal, three-goal game against the Swans. The eight votes take him to within one vote of Travis Boak, who leads the Power's AFLCA voting with 38 votes.

Matthew Broadbent's stunning return to form earned him seven votes while Brad Ebert (two votes) and Dom Cassisi (one) rounded out the Power's votes.
