INJURED senior players Dom Cassisi and Brett Ebert could spend a month on the sidelines according to Port Adelaide’s high performance manager Darren Burgess.

Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au he was hopeful the pair would return from respective hamstring and adductor injuries by the start of August.

“In some respects both are genuinely unknown in terms of how long their rehab may take,” explained Burgess.

“Best case scenario would be Brisbane (Round 18) and somewhere around that time or the Showdown the week after would be about where we realistically expect them back if their recovery goes to schedule.”

Cassisi was substituted from last Saturday’s 35-point win over Collingwood at AAMI Stadium, while Ebert damaged his adductor playing for the club’s SANFL team on Sunday.
