At number eight in our Footy Park Flashbacks fan poll is last year's unbelievable come-from-behind win over North Melbourne.

32 points down, eight minutes into the last quarter.

It seemed unlikely that Port Adelaide, fresh from six consecutive losses, would overcome the deficit against a higher-rated North Melbourne.

Cue the comeback.

With 14:41 left on the clock, the Power's midfield flicked the switched and started to claw back the deficit.

Jay Schulz kicked two consecutive goals before Justin Westhoff chipped in with a single of his own.

That brought the margin to within 14 points with seven minutes remaining.

The odds with the Kangaroos, but Port had the momentum.

But for all that dominance, the Power found ways to make life difficult for itself.

Four consecutive behinds slowly shaved the margin to ten points and it looked as though North would scrape home.

Enter Matthew Broadbent.

The midfielder announced himself as part of the future for Port Adelaide with a massively effective final quarter performance.

He set up Jay Schulz with his seventh goal for the match to close the gap again.

Broadbent then launched the bomb that demolished North's hopes.

Kicking from centre-wing, Broadbent's kick landed in the arms of creative utility Paul Stewart who evaded a diving Michael Firrito and kicked towards goal.

He was celebrating before it had even traversed the goal line.

Port was two points in front and it was enough.

Flooding back into defense, the Power held on for 43 of the most excruciating seconds in football to clinch the win of the year.

Tomorrow we reveal your number seven in our Footy Park Flashbacks as well as feature an exclusive colum from SANFL premiership captain Tim Ginever.
