portadelaidefc.com.au is giving supporters a fresh clue each day to help them guess which player will be announced as part of the Power's #5daysofXmas

Following on from our cryptic clue for Jake Neade on Monday night, we gave another clue for who might be revealed on Wednesday.

The clue for the third day of the Power's #5daysofXmas was:

The link to today's signing - Hamish Hartlett - was the stop sign. Stop, Hammer time was from a song (U Cant Touch This) made famous by MC Hammer in the 1990s and has been used by supporters and the club on social media when referring to Hartlett.

A few supporters guessed it, but we saw some fantastic suggestions as to what the clue meant on social media and the BigFooty forum. Below are some of our favourites:

"No left turns...Zoolander?" - in reference to the no left turn sign in the picture. From Raman on BigFooty

"Could they use ET again for Hamish as he has zero shoulders?" - From RangaInTeal on BigFooty

"Reading the article (from which the image was sourced) - Emerson place - un sure? Mason Shaw?" - From jdeezy on BigFooty

"I wonder how they would have found that picture. What would they have searched for? I think the whole message is the stop sign (stoppages) and traffic (congestion around clearances). A player that does his best work in traffic.

I think it might be Gray, due to the grey van" - From Janus on BigFooty

""Should I Stay or Should I Go" + 01 = Boak" - From theDuckFarmer on BigFooty

"What Agius typed into google to find that picture will indicate what his intention for the picture's underlying message was.

The only way I can bring up that picture in google image search which at a push is anywhere near a realistic search term is when I type "stop sign and traffic light", it's the 5th image returned.

Which would make the "should I stay or should I go" phrase the more likely clue, which means it could be Boak I guess although I'm not sure why Agius would bring up that crap saga :( That would also make the 1 purely coincidental.

Still confused." - From TheFVK on BigFooty

"Stop sign Green light 'Should I stay or should I go?' 01 on the Van Yeah I'm thinking Boak now." - From Kickpuncher on BigFooty

"Maybe if we want how to draw a longbow with tism band member Humphrey B. Flaubert ...isn't Humphrey a nick name of Westoff?" - From davesnothere on BigFooty
