The first three days of the week saw over 1000 memberships sold, the majority being 11-game reserved seats or Essential Power memberships which guarantee access to the historic first Showdown at the Adelaide Oval.
The previous record week (excluding telethon events) was 1,274 sales, which will be eclipsed on Thursday afternoon.
The result was largely on the back of new and existing members purchasing more seats for family and friends and doesn't factor in upgrades from general admission products such as country, three-game or 11-game general admission memberships to 11-game reserved seats or Essential Power categories for 2014.
With the member-exclusive pre-sale commencing on Tuesday 11 March, general admission members are reminded to upgrade into a reserved seat for the Showdown by purchasing an upgrade when the sales window opens at 9:00am (SA time).
All general admission members will receive an email and letter explaining how to do this.
The alternative to save the rush and hassle of the pre-sale window is to upgrade to an 11-game reserved seat or Essential Power membership, which will not only guarantee Showdown access, but also a place at games like the club's 10-year premiership anniversary celebration in Round 4 and blockbuster night matches against Hawthorn, Essendon, Sydney and Carlton.
