"IT would take a broken leg to keep Schulzy from playing."

These are the words of captain Travis Boak after Schulz re-injured his foot against North Melbourne, but kept on playing.

Schulz has had more than his fair share of knocks and bumps in his time at Port Adelaide, but he has an uncanny ability to play through the pain.

In just over four years at Alberton, Schulz has suffered cracked ribs and a punctured lung in a collision with teammate Justin Westhoff; a nasty eye injury which nearly saw him lose sight in one eye after a stray hand in a Showdown; more bandages to the head than anyone can remember and now a nasty gash on his upper lip.

The 29-year-old warrior was quickly bandaged up and returned to the field after the knock, going on to play a vital role in the Power's 14-point win with the game-sealing goal.

Schulz took to social media on Sunday to show off his new look.

We'll warn you now, don't scroll down if you're squeamish!
