KNEE injuries to Campbell Heath and Brent Renouf in Port Adelaide's Saturday afternoon SANFL win have dampened the club's successful double-victory Saturday.

But Angus Monfries should pull up fine from a rolled ankle that saw him substituted from the Power's exhilarating victory over reigning premiers Hawthorn at the Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.

Power downs Hawks in front of record crowd.

The prognosis on Heath and Renouf is concerning according to senior coach Ken Hinkley, but the pair will be assessed further at Alberton during the week.

"Looks bad for both the boys - for Brent Renouf who's hurt his knee significantly and Campbell Heath the same," Hinkley said.

"We won't know exactly what they are [until later next week] but the initial prognosis is not great.

"It's probably season-ending for both boys, that's the way it sits now."

Renouf's injury may put pressure on potential sole ruckman Matthew Lobbe, although the Power big man continues to be supported by fellow talls Jackson Trengove and Justin Westhoff on-field.

While Hinkley refuses to cotton-wool his best ruckman, his 'no risk' management policy will come into effect in the event Lobbe was to suffer injury.

"It makes 'Lobbes' pretty valuable to us to stay fit and healthy, but if something was to go wrong with him and he was to have a slight sore calf again [like he did in Round 8], we wouldn't take a risk with him," Hinkley said.

"Just because we haven't got Brent Renouf to back him up, we'd play someone else to make sure we don't take those risks."

It was the 'no risk' policy that came into effect with the Monfries substitution.

"He'll be fine."

"We asked him just before three-quarter time and he said it was OK and [he] could get through, but we decided it wasn't worth the risk to make him any sorer than we needed to."
