UTILITY Paul Stewart and midfielder Andrew Moore are free to play against North Adelaide in the SANFL this week after being cleared of injury.

The pair have been in rehabilitation for several weeks after sustaining respective knee and collarbone injuries and will take on the Roosters at Alberton Oval on Saturday afternoon.

Small mid/forward Cameron Hitchcock will be assessed at training this week according to head of high performance Darren Burgess.

“Stewart and Moore will be back this week, but we’ll see how Hitchcock responds at training this week.

“He’s a chance to play, but could need to wait until SANFL Round 14.”

Alipate Carlile, Jackson Trengove and Campbell Heath continue to inch closer to their returns, with Carlile now at least a week away from recovering from his hamstring injury.

UPDATE 4:38pm: The club has also confirmed Aseri Raikiwasa will miss up to eight weeks with a stress fracture in his foot.

Raikiwasa, a member of the Magpies leadership group, suffered the injury against the Double Blues and is a chance to return before the end of the minor round.
