PORT ADELAIDE has named both its AFL and SANFL sides for the club’s first week of dual integrated finals in its history.

Both the club’s AFL First Elimination Final against Richmond and SANFL Second Semi Final against Norwood will be played in the club’s much-loved black-and-white ‘prison bar’ guernsey on the hallowed Adelaide Oval turf this weekend.

Two strong sides have been named, with the extended 25-man AFL squad to be potentially unchanged when it is finalised at 4:30pm (ACST) on Friday afternoon.

Kane Mitchell, Ben Newton and Cameron O’Shea have been named as emergencies for the Power.

In the SANFL, the club has welcomed five players into its extended 23-man squad for the game on Saturday afternoon, including half backman Campbell Heath, outside midfielder Anthony Biemans, runners Jake Johansen and Sam Gordon and regular forward Robbie Young.

The club's senior coach Ken Hinkley described the two finals at the Adelaide Oval as a fantastic result for the City of Adelaide and the Port Adelaide Football Club.

"I'll be there Saturday at 5:40pm to watch the Magpies, hopefully they can bring the right desire to get themselves in the grand final," Hinkley told portadelaidefc.com.au.

"And Richmond are the form side of the competition, we've got them in a massive game, we all know there is no tomorrow when you're playing elimination finals.

"It's important that we are playing at the Adelaide Oval and I know the Port Adelaide faithful will rock the place and get the boys feeling the vibe and energy of their support.

"Ross Lyon last week spoke of the importance of the crowd in getting his boys up and we'll get the same from the best supporters in the competition on Sunday and Saturday."

The balance of the team - particularly the Power's AFL side - remains strong for Sunday's clash against the Tigers.

"I think we've been really consistent over the past month and the players who've been playing in the side for those games have been the ones who deserve the opportunity to do it again," Hinkley said.

"At this time of the year you do want to have a settled team of players who are used to playing in their positions together, we have that this weekend."

Port Adelaide's AFL First Elimination Final will be played on Sunday 7 September at 2:50pm at the Adelaide Oval.

The club's SANFL Second Semi Final will be played on Saturday 6 September at 5:40pm at the Adelaide Oval.
