CRAIG McKay, who’s a lifelong Port Adelaide supporter, has given his top five player reviews each week in 2014 and filed this after the come-from-behind win over Freo.

He obviously liked Ollie’s game – giving him a 15 out of 10!

The opinions below are those of McKay and not necessarily the club.

Ollie Wines
Honestly I don’t know what to say about Ollie's game tonight. It was the best game I’ve seen from an under 21 in a final. The way he just refused to let the game get out of hand was something of a 200 game veteran. The guy is class personified. Had two massive clearances to start the third quarter, kicked a great goal to get us going, and then his last quarter was sheer brilliance. In my humble opinion, Ollie is the best youngster in the game. He is so ridiculously underrated and I agree with Gary Lyon. He's underrated because he's never had to have the 'oh he’s only young' excuse about his game. He has been consistently great from day 1. Well done Ollie. That was a finals performance that will be talked about for years.

Robbie Gray
Quiet first half where he just couldn’t get his mojo going. But you can’t keep a champion player down for too long. His third quarter was fundamental to the victory. 4 goals in a quarter in a final is just reward for what has been a sensational season from Robbie. We all know how good he's been and he's strengthened his reputation with his 2 finals to date. Wonderful player.

Hamish Hartlett
Thought his defensive work on Neale in the first half was poor and whilst he was getting enough of the ball himself, he just had to play tighter at the stoppages. As Neale slowly went out of the game, Hammer went bang with a massive second half. That third quarter of his was as good as anyone’s. A number of key clearances and just so good at the contest. Wins the hard ball, gets his arms free and can dish out an effective handball, or thread the needle with the kick. One of our very best.

Chad Wingard
Clutch Wingod is back. As if there was ever any doubt about Chad Wingard performing in a big game. It was Wingod at his absolute best. 4 fantastic goals and that last goal, to break the back of Fremantle was one of the very best finals goals you are ever likely to see. Did everything right tonight. Massive effort. For those that wrote him off 2 months ago, he's come to play when it matters.

Alipate Carlile
Lengthened Pavlich's questionable finals record with a great game. Held with him defensively much better than he did 2 weeks ago and didn’t allow him many genuine scoring chances. He's had a great season Bobby and that game was as good as he's played all year. So cool and calm under pressure now.
