The home blockbusters

Round 2 v Sydney – Saturday, April 11 @ 7.10pm
Our 2015 home opener under lights against the 2014 runner-up is set to have Adelaide Oval packed to the rafters. Off the field, it’ll be a big show as we know it always is, on the field it should be a beauty.

The Power and Swans played one of the matches of the 2014 season at the SCG in Round 13, with a dominant Buddy Franklin second half display eventually getting Sydney across the line by just 4 points. They backed it up with another cracker in Round 20 at Adelaide Oval – the final 26-point margin not showing just how close the game was all night.

Round 4 v Hawthorn – Saturday, April 25 @ 7.10pm
A rematch of 2014’s epic Preliminary Final under lights on the 100th anniversary of the ANZAC landings at Gallipoli – it doesn’t get bigger than this!

The importance of the day is huge for Port Adelaide, with the club’s long-serving relationship with the RSL set to ensure the men and women who fought for our country will be honoured appropriately in the week leading up and on the night itself.

Round 11 v Geelong – Friday, June 12 @ 7.20pm
Any Friday night game is big, but a Friday night at Adelaide Oval against one of the modern powerhouse clubs of the AFL is really big.

The Power’s only Friday night game at Adelaide Oval in 2014 set an AFL record crowd for the state of 52,505 and this game will no doubt threaten that record again.

Port Adelaide snapped a 10-game losing streak against the Cats with a 40-point win in ANZAC Round 2014 and will be hoping to make it two in a row against Geelong.

Round 15 v Collingwood – Thursday, July 9 @ 7.20pm
Port Adelaide’s first Thursday night game at Adelaide Oval against traditional rival Collingwood. These two clubs have plenty of history, much of it stemming back to the black and white tradition the clubs share.

Guernsey stoushes, classic games and much more, this rivalry will heat up to another level in this Thursday night showpiece at the picturesque Adelaide Oval.

Round 16 v Adelaide – Sunday, July 19 @ 2.50pm
The Showdown just speaks for itself. It’s the game that stops a state and 50,000 Power fans will make sure the Crows feel anything but welcome at our home.
