BRAD Ebert and Jay Schulz will play against Brisbane on Sunday after suffering painful corks against West Coast, while Ollie Wines will join in training during the week.

The Power’s head of high performance Darren Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au Wines is nearing the end of his rehab, and the team will get a look at his fitness on the track later in the week.

“We’ll assess Ollie during the week, he’ll hopefully join in training and we’ll get an idea on where he’s at,” Burgess said.

“Ebo and Schulzy will be good to go for Brisbane.”

It’s still early days in rehab for Jared Polec who is now on the Power’s long term injury list, with Burgess saying the club won’t have a clear indication on his progress until he is back on his feet.

“Polly will be off his legs for the next month, and we’ll assess him from there,” Burgess said.

“We can’t know for sure when his exact return might be until he’s on his feet, and we’re not going to rush him back ahead of time.”

Recruits Billy Frampton and Dougal Howard continue their return from shin and lower leg problems, and remain about a month away from pulling on playing jumpers in the SANFL.

“Billy is back joining in drills now, and Dougal has been on the Alter G and will start running next week,” Burgess said.

“For these two, it’s all about care, given they’re early in their careers.”
