LAST WEEK’S NEWS

A 13 point win is just what we needed and we need to once again thank Chad Wingard (FWD/MID, $513,000) who booted three goals and led the way with 110pts.

Chad has been on fire averaging 110 over the last three weeks. He was well supported by Brad Ebert (MID, $513,000) who got back amongst the scores after going for four weeks without scoring a ton.

Travis Boak (MID, $538,000) racked up a ton from 28 possessions but our Fantasy favourite Robbie Gray (FWD/MID, $489,000) had a day to forget. He scored 67 and only managed two tackles and one mark.

Sam Colquhoun (DEF, $299,000) returned after a week in the twos and produced a solid 56 and will have his fingers crossed that he can now see out the year as a permanent player.

ON THE RADAR

He’s cheap and a perfect downgrade option for the injured Gary Ablett ($573,000). I’m taking about Ollie Wines (MID, $512,000).

Wines has now averaged 102 over the last three weeks and has scored over 100 on five occasions this year. Port have a good draw coming up (St K, WBD, GWS) and Wines could potentially average 110+ over this time.

TOP 5 SCORERS

#1 – 110 Chad Wingard (FWD/MID, $513,000)
#2 – 101 Brad Ebert (MID, $513,000)
#3 – 100 Travis Boak (MID, $538,000)
#4 – 97 Matthew Lobbe (RUC, $412,000)
#5 – 97 Ollie Wines (MID, $512,000)

WHAT’S COMING UP

This week, Port play St Kida at home.

Last time they met, Wingard whipped up a huge 125 and even had 108 against the Saints prior to that. Jack Steven (avg. 116) and David Armitage (avg. 109) will need to be restricted though, as they are two of the best Fantasy players in the competition.
