Peter Jackson Player of the Week

Sam Gray

He's just in really good knick. Love his stoppage compliance as well as his hunt for the pill and the oppo.

Player Reviews

Tom Gray

Liked his pressure and hunt of the opposition, just needs to get involved in our offence a little more.

Kane Mitchell

Played a couple of roles for us around stoppage as well as using his run to break the lines and hurt the opposition.

Steven Summerton

Summo must continue to have good balance in his game. Still good numbers and provided the forwards with some good opportunities to score.

Dougal Howard

Just needs to keep getting to as many contests as he can and continue to be aggressive over four quarters.

Tom Logan

Consistently one of our players who gives his all in every contest.

Sid Masters

Steady down back and always looks to be composed when under pressure.

Sam Russell

Competed hard again with his direct opponent. Joined in on our offence which is an area he is looking to improve.

Paul Stewart

Came back into the side and was not quite at his best. Was asked to play a role for us up forward and I was pleased he challenged his opponent.

John Butcher

Played at both ends of the ground and competed well. Defended strongly especially when under pressure from the opposition.

Karl Amon

Karl only really impacted for short periods. He must look to be far more consistent in his performance every time he plays.

Darcy Byrne-Jones

Needs to be a lot more aggressive against his direct opponent. Used his running ability well at times when carrying the ball for us.

Logan Austin

Solid again with good defensive pressure. We like that he rebounds the ball effectively and defends with aggression.

Brendon Ah Chee

Not his best performance. I’m sure he will bounce back this week and provide us with great aggression and leadership at the contest.

Jarred Redden

Was very competitive again for us around stoppage. Just needs to have more aerial presence up forward and around the ground.

Anthony Biemans

Quiet this week but not from trying or hitting in at the contest it was just one of those days where he could not have as much impact.

Billy Frampton

Billy had good moments in the game and was very aggressive in the contest, his challenge is to have it for four quarters.

Jesse Palmer

Quite the same as Billy, Jesse impacts on the game and in contests but must continue to develop into a player that can do it for four quarters.

Johann Wagner

Really struggled like so many others. Must look to provide a strong contest both in the air and on the ground.

Mitch Harvey

Mitch looked dangerous at times when forward but only impacts in parts of the game - his challenge is consistency. Very competitive in the ruck for us when needed.

Tom Jonas

I thought he came back into the team with a terrific attitude and great intent to be defensively hard to play against and he also provided great leadership when needed.

HOCKING: We missed a chance
