PORT Adelaide chalked up its eighth win of 2015 with its most comprehensive performance of the season.

But the news emerging from a surprisingly clinical display from the Power wasn’t all good, with human tractor Ollie Wines subbed from the game with a dislocated shoulder.

INJURY: Wines shoulder cause for concern

Wines was taken out of the game at quarter time after attempting to return during the first term with his left shoulder strapped.

It was the only black spot on a match that was locked away when Matt White opened a game-high 44-point lead midway through the third term, the Power having controlled the game after half time.

St Kilda wasn’t short of opportunities to challenge the Power, though, having kicked six behinds in the second quarter despite controlling most of the play.

In reality, it was the Power's most comprehensive performance for 2015, having absorbed the Saints' spark after quarter time and punishing them with four unblemished goals.

Robbie Gray's third quarter was icing on a cake, as was a game-long performance from Justin Westhoff who played all of his favourite roles: key forward, running mid and reinforcement backman.

Chad Wingard booted four goals in a performance that suggests he'll be hard beating for both his first club leading goal kicker award and a second All-Australian nod.

More to come...
