FOUR QUARTERS

THE STAKES
Port Adelaide remain in 12th position on the ladder after their win over St Kilda, but losses to Adelaide Crows, Greater Western Sydney and Collingwood keep the finals chances alive.

On the other hand, the Western Bulldogs sit just outside the top four and can smell the double chance.

In the past Etihad Stadium has not been Port Adelaide’s favourite away ground, but two wins from the two games played there this year will give the side confidence under the roofed stadium.

THE STOCKS
Ollie Wines has been ruled out of the season with a shoulder injury.

The hamstring injury that has kept Nathan Krakouer out will also be assessed, while Karl Amon is in good form after being named amongst the best in the Magpies' SANFL win.

For the Bulldogs defenders Jordan Roughead and Fletcher Roberts are putting their hand up for selection after overcoming injuries.

THE HISTORY
The recent history between these two sides goes Port Adelaide’s way, with some big wins sure to give some extra confidence going into the weekends do or die game.

When the two sides met in Round 10 this year, Port Adelaide were ahead all game and ran out 38-point winners, while their 2014 encounter was a massive 72-point win for Port Adelaide.

THE VIBE
This is another massive game.A third win on the trot could launch Port Adelaide to 10th position and within a game of the top eight with four rounds remaining.
