For the sixth time this season, Robbie Gray has been voted best on field in the Wok in a Box Fans’ MVP Award, Gray instrumental in the classic win over Hawthorn.

With 34 disposals, seven clearances and seven inside 50’s, Gray was hard to go past as the best on ground, his quality ball use matched with his score assists enhancing calls for another All-Australian selection.

Fans cast 3,2,1 votes online each week at fansmvp.portadelaidefc.com.au and these votes are then scaled to award five votes to the player with the most votes in that round, four votes to the player with the second-most votes and so on.

Serial vote getter Chad Wingard earned four votes for his performance, recovering from a heavy knock in the head to kick four goals to poll in his 11th consecutive game.

Another shade of Gray featured in the votes, Sam receiving three votes after matching his namesake with 34 possessions and a goal, while Patrick Ryder (two) and Jasper Pittard (one) round out the vote getters.

With two rounds remaining Robbie Gray maintains his overall lead in the Award on 52 votes; the only player that can still challenge him is Wingard who sits eight votes behind.

EnergyAustralia Magpies Fans’ MVP

Port Adelaide’s Andrew Moore has been judged best afield by the Fans’ after the Round 18 win over South Adelaide in the SANFL.

The Magpies all but secured a double chance in the finals, ably assisted by Moore’s three goals, 22 disposals and six clearances.

Steven Summerton has a near-unassailable lead of the Fans’ MVP, earning four votes to extend his lead even further after finishing with a game-high 10 clearances.

With a minimum of three games left in Port's season (which includes at least two finals matches), Tom Logan would need to poll five votes in each of the Magpies' next three games.

Depending on the fall of results, Port may play four games in the finals which gives Logan a slim, but ultimately unlikely chance of winning the EnergyAustralia Fans' MVP.

The remaining players to poll votes against South were Sam Colquhoun (three), Matthew Lobbe (two), and Logan (one) who sits clearly in second position on the overall leaderboard.
