A FURTHER six Fremantle players have been ruled out of Saturday’s clash with the Power as part of fatigue management in the lead up to the Dockers' finals campaign.

Revealing the names in a press conference on Tuesday morning, Dockers’ senior coach Ross Lyon said Luke Mc Pharlin, Aaron Sandilands, Matthew Pavlich, David Mundy, Stephen Hill and Lee Spurr will be rested in Round 23.

The six new outs are in addition Brownlow favourite Nat Fyfe, who was ruled out last week as he rests an inflamed leg, and Cam Sutcliffe will also miss with a dislocated shoulder.

Michael Walters also won’t play, with Lyon confirming they “won’t be take the risk” with the small forward's calf injury this weekend.

The news comes after Fremantle confirmed up to 11 of their players could be rested this week given neither side could improve their ladder position, regardless of the game's result.

Meanwhile Lyon confirmed Connor Blakely will definitely be hitting the field, while all-Australian Hayden Ballantyne and captain Matthew Pavlich are a chance to return from respective pectorial tendon Achilles injuries.

Fremantle coaches and medical staff met at the club on Tuesday morning to decide which players would hit the field on Round 23.

Freo officials will continue the assessment of players this week.

Team lineups for the final minor round will released on Thursday evening at 5:55pm.
