"You've gotta be insanely driven, to make sure that whatever you do tonight, there's an intensity about it that you've never gone to ... yet."

THOSE are the words of Ken Hinkley, moments before Port Adelaide's ANZAC Day match against Hawthorn in April this year, shown in the first teaser trailer to INSIDE: The Story of Port Adelaide 2015.

It's an incredible inner-sanctum documentary produced by the club in conjunction with Renault Australia.

The documentary captures the highs and lows of an AFL club’s pursuit of success and will premiere on FOX FOOTY at 8.30pm (AEST) on Wednesday 23 September.

It will then be shown in Adelaide on Channel Seven ahead of the SANFL Grand Final, and on the eve of the 2015 AFL Grand Final.

Taking viewers behind the scenes during the Power’s rollercoaster 2015 campaign, INSIDE covers the innermost moments of life with the team.

Go INSIDE like never before...

INSIDE shows never-before-seen footage from the Power's 2015 campaign, including coach Ken Hinkley and captain Travis Boak's pre-game addresses to the Port playing group, brutal post-game reviews and emotional insights into the club's Round 15 game against Collingwood following the tragic passing of its life member and former assistant coach Phil Walsh.

It also features commentary from key football and administrative figures inside the club.

Port Adelaide chief executive Keith Thomas said the documentary's production and release, particularly after a season where the Power only just missed a third consecutive finals berth, was part of Port Adelaide's commitment to highly accessible and engaging insight into the club's operations.

“Maintaining this philosophy can be challenging especially during periods whereby your on-field performance doesn’t match your own internal expectations,” Mr Thomas told portadelaidefc.com.au.

“As viewers will see, the players, coaches and club as a whole took some very important lessons out of this difficult year and we felt those lessons were important to share with our supporters.

“The documentary is brutal and confronting at times and emotional and uplifting at others. The bottom line is this documentary will give supporters insights that have never been accessible before.

“We’re hopeful that this documentary will not only appeal to Port Adelaide supporters but also to fans of other AFL clubs and other sports.”

And this is just the beginning.

Port Adelaide plans to present yearly documentaries giving a glimpse into its pursuit of the ultimate success - an AFL premiership.

Renault Australia’s managing director Justin Hocevar said Renault was proud to present the documentary and provide insights into life as part of the Power.

“Renault partnered Port Adelaide at the start of 2013 because we shared similar values. One of those key values was in relation to fan engagement and we think this documentary provides Port Adelaide supporters and the wider football community a rare insight into the true workings of an AFL club,” Mr Hocevar said.
