NATHAN FYFE has won the 2015 Brownlow Medal by three votes from last year's winner Matt Priddis.
Fyfe started strongly and polled in 12 rounds to win the most iconic award in Australian sport, leading from the first round and never looking back despite late charges from Pridds and Hawthorn's Sam Mitchell.
Port Adelaide's Travis Boak hovered in the top five throughout the night but eventually dropped out of the top ten after drawing heavy tags in the final few rounds.
The Power skipper polled 16 votes, enough to hold off fellow midfielder Robbie Gray who bolted late to finish on 13.
Brad Ebert was an early leader for the Power, eventually falling away.
Port Adelaide had three first-time pollers, including key backman Alipate Carlile who netted his first votes - two - in his 157th AFL game.
Brendon Ah Chee polled three votes against the Giants in Round 20, while Sam Gray drew votes in the last three games of the season.
