AFTER sifting through dozens of entries, Port Adelaide has crowned Li Jing Song as the winner of its Chinese commentary competition for 2015.

After an excellent display of commentary prowess in his native Mandarin, Jing Song will commentated all of the Power’s home games in the 2016 season for broadcast into China.

Jing Song is excited to be part of the exciting opportunity to commentate Power games.

“I love sports and this is a good chance to show all the Chinese people the football, another kind of football. I think it’s interesting” Jing Song said.

Jing Song came to Australia from Shandong province in China and has recently graduated with a masters degree in water resources management at the University of South Australia.

He was first introduced to the Australian game through a game program with overseas students at university, and he fell in love with the sport straight away.

Jing Song is excited to start commentating next year and cannot wait to call the plays of his favourite player, Jasper Pittard.

Although he does not know all the player names yet, he plans to learn them all so he can give the Chinese audience a high standard of commentary.
