CHRISTMAS is just 10 days away, and to celebrate, portadelaidefc.com.au is making four big announcements.

Monday's first announcement was Travis Boak's new contract extension, which keeps him at Alberton until at least the end of the 2019 season.

Tuesday's was the revelation that Robbie Gray will also stay at Port Adelaide beyond his 31st birthday.

Here's the clue for Tuesday and the answer...

The Second Black, Teal and White Christmas Clue

We're one announcement down,
Boaky's signed a deal,
And now you've come back to read
Our second little spiel.

Just one other thing,
We've had to change the time,
We'll be making our next announcement
Just after half-past-nine.

So here's the clue, it's a hard one,
You're sure to pull a face,
It's just a pretty picture of
the Royal Henley Regatta race.

Clue solved

Port Adelaide ambassador and hit magician Matt Tarrant solved the mystery on Tuesday evening:

He got the answer about 99 per cent right.

The Royal Henley Regatta is held in the town of Henley-on-Thames, in South Oxfordshire.

The postcode district for Henley-on-Thames is 'RG9'.

Of course, these are the initials of Robbie Gray and his playing number - No. 9.

Well done Matt, we didn't have prizes associated to our cryptic clues, but we'll try hard to make sure you continue as an ambassador next year!

A clue to Port Adelaide's third announcement will appear on portadelaidefc.com.au at 6:00pm on Tuesday night.
